Hey Daddies! The way I see it, all this new ( and some not-so-new) ai stuff coming out should not be viewed as life-changing. Not yet anyway. What we want to do as the average folk, is figure out what tools we can use to give us a slight edge.

I’m sure you’ve heard the statement that “ AI will not take your job, but Someone using AI will “. I believe this is true in most cases. So let’s be that “someone”.

So let’s talk about how we can become more effective and maybe save time.

Introducing Perplexity!

Perplexity is the world’s first answer engine, created to enhance your search experience by making it smarter, faster, and more insightful. Simply ask any question, and it will provide a thorough answer supported by reliable sources.

That last spot is key. Many times when asking an LLM (large Language Model) questions, it gives you answers that are not 100% correct. With Perplexity, you can ask what you would normally search for on Google and it will give you links to back up it’s answer.

Again, this is not life changing, but if you continue to get more comfortable using these tools in enough areas of your life, your going to always have an edge.

What To Do

I’d encourage you to save a Perplexity tab right next to your Google tab and get into the habit of using it any time you think “Let me google that”. You’re going to end up saving time. We could all use more of that!
